Alpha One Signed Paperback Giveaway — Official Rules

1. Sponsor. The giveaway is run by Michael J. Lalonde (North Vanguard Press™), Ontario, Canada.

2. Eligibility. Open to residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. The sponsor and members of his immediate family are not eligible.

3. Contest period. The giveaway opens on November 4, 2026 and closes on December 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

4. How to enter. No purchase necessary. Enter by subscribing to Michael J. Lalonde’s newsletter through the form at michaeljlalonde.com/giveaway. Existing subscribers may enter by submitting the form. Limit of one entry per person and per email address.

5. Prize. One (1) signed paperback copy of Alpha One: A Matt Lion Thriller, approximate retail value $25 CAD, shipped free to the winner’s Canadian mailing address. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Draw. One winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on December 7, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Skill-testing question. Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by email.

8. Winner notification. The selected entrant will be contacted by email and must respond with a mailing address within 7 days. If the entrant cannot be reached, does not respond in time, or answers the skill-testing question incorrectly, another entrant may be drawn.

9. Privacy. Personal information is used to administer the giveaway and send the newsletter you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Your information is never sold.
